Who We Are
Bridges takes a systematic yet compassionate approach to tackling barriers to enrollment and learning achievement so students can thrive. This means supplying learning materials, upgrading technology access, removing fees, raising awareness and dismantling other roadblocks.
At Bridges we take an integrated, holistic approach to tackling barriers that prevent disadvantaged youth from accessing quality education.
Early Learning Access
We believe even children under 5 stuck in cycles of poverty deserve nurturing, stimulating environments to begin foundation skills like literacy and numeracy. Our Early Learning Access programming partners with communities to deliver training, materials, technologies and infrastructure. This includes refurbishing facilities focused on arts, play and social-emotional growth.
Primary School Participation
Expanding access to primary schools means eliminating barriers like child labor expectations and gender discrimination. With your help, we hope to be able to subsidize attendance costs, launch awareness campaigns, provide school meals/supplies and build new community-run schools in underserved rural areas.
Secondary Education
The skills students develop by upper secondary prepare them for trades, careers, entrepreneurship and higher academic pursuits. our future strategy involves the launch of accelerated curriculums helping those out of school catch up, establish tech-focused models, build skills training labs and award need-based scholarships to cover exam/attendance costs.
Higher Ed Achievement
University finance obstacles should not dash the dreams of qualified, lower-income students ready to gain degrees that unlock management, engineering, sciences and humanities career paths. we aspire to open doors to accredit universities abroad connecting students to a world of opportunity. Mentorship reinforces persistence.
